Let’s Share the Christmas Spirit

 In News
Dear Friends of WFWIA,
Another year has passed and brought with it many challenges. But we are so pleased to be able to say that we are
Educating more Kibera primary and secondary students
Providing education to Ugandan Women Refugees and Masai Women
Giving girls a secure and happy home at the Safe House
Supporting the International IT Course for school leavers
Providing counselling for families
Meeting the needs of families affected by COVID. Assisting with food, rental support and medical care.

We have been able to do this because of the generosity of the people of Australia and WFWIA. Thank you to each and every donor who has made life possible for so many living in Kibera. Families in Kibera, this year, have experienced COVID, loss of work, fire and floods but they are resilient and they are determined that their children will go to school and have a chance to make a difference to their lives. They cannot do this without help, they really want to say thank you to each and every wonderful WFWIA donor. If you can help make Christmas a little special for the families, I know that they will appreciate it very much – just to have a nice meal, maybe with chicken or beef, will be so wonderful and maybe a treat. However, what they really want is to say ‘thank you’ to all who have given them education, life and hope.

We at WFWIA wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
We don’t know what 2022 will bring but we hope that you will have good health and much happiness.
