“As  a child growing up in Zambia I was surrounded by the local children at school and at play. When introduced to WFWIA in 2009 through Richard Ruskin and having met and listened to Sister Leonida to hear first hand the work that WKW undertook to help the most vulnerable children of Kibera through education and the women of Kibera learning vital skills to help gainful employment, my husband and I immediately realised the difference that we could make. We have been lucky enough to meet our sponsored children, receive letters from them and by visiting Kibera we have witnessed first hand what our sponsorship means and the positive difference it makes to a childs life”
