Aleks Kulesza

Aleks is the Managing Director of AMSALA Capital , an investment company he founded with his wife after selling a chain of Victorian aged care facilities a few years ago. He is married to Anette and has three children – Martin, Lauren and Annelise.

Aleks has been in business all his life formerly owning both Building Surveying & Engineering and Architectural Drafting companies. His wide and varied business background allows him to have a great understanding and input into WFWIA.

Aleks has been involved with WFWIA since 2006, and is currently a Board Member and Chair of both Finance and Building Committees. Aleks’ son Martin – aged 14, has also been actively involved in fundraising for WFWIA and has travelled with him to Nairobi three times and presented at schools and fundraising functions in Melbourne.

Aleks has travelled to Nairobi numerous times to support the work WkW in Nairobi performs and notes: “Our organisations both in Australia and Kenya are making a difference to the lives of Kenyan people and I am proud that all Board Members are so passionate about helping and making a difference”.

I believe that every child has the right to an education. In Australia we accept this without question, but in Kibera, going to school is just a dream for most.
